For now I’m trying to see this side of her as necessary for the comedy, but I hope I won’t end up finding her annoying. Unfortunately, I can’t help but finding Sun Mi a bit too clueless at times… Of course we do hope that he will really fall for her, because it’s a Kdrama after all… but for now seeing him struggling with his feelings is funny enough. Then there’s this whole group chat thing that I found hilarious as well… especially when Oh Gong finds out that the zombie girl got a smart phone and was also invited to the group chat! Then we see him sulking in his room saying he’s never felt so pathetic even when he was thrown out from heaven… ah, all these new problems created by modern technology! This running gag is really cracking me up, especially when hearing each character’s different notification sound.īy the way, how CEO Sa brings Oh Gong a housewarming gift and is so happy that Oh Gong lets him cook and clean… that was so absurd as well! I’m not sure I understand this character very well yet, but he’s pretty funny.Īnd what about our main couple? Yes, Son Oh Gong looks very cool when he appears to save Sun Mi and then tells her how he loves her and will always protect her… although if she was to remove the Geum Gang Go he would kill her right away because, hey, this love is fake! This is a quite unusual and interesting plot twist, I must say.
How they have Frosty freeze her “crispy kimchi” style, and then Fairy transform her so she looks like a normal person… until her eye falls off and Fairy has to fix it again.
There’s a certain type of absurd humor I really enjoy, so I found the whole zombie story quite hilarious. That’s every Sailor Moon episode, I’m telling you! (minus the transformation part, haha) I must say that at some points I felt like I was watching Sailor Moon… as our main lady comes across a weird-looking demon who is sucking the energy from its victims… and tries to elegantly fight it with her umbrella… but is eventually saved by her beau with perfect timing.

Actually, I’m really enjoying this series so far! I’m still not completely used to it so it feels weird, but not in a bad way. I think I still feel a bit confused about the comedic aspect of this drama-it is mainly a comedy, while I was expecting it to be mainly a fantasy drama.
